I am passionate about creating social innovation and experimentation hubs where system changers can connect, collaborate, and thrive, whether through place-based communities or transformative events. In Costa Rica, I founded Unity Coliving, an intentional conscious co-living community in San José, while also catalyzing the development of an activist community known as Protopia in Arenal. In Portugal, I have been actively involved in the creation of Traditional Dream Factory, a DAO-governed regenerative village pioneering new models for collective living and collaboration. I co-authored the book How to Build a Regenerative Village and regularly write about the regenerative movement, cultural evolution, technology, and societal progress. I am also the co-founder of Protopian Convergence, which produces high-impact gatherings designed to build the capacities needed for a thriving civilization. Ultimately, I’ve been producing evolutionary events focused on system change, ranging from Frequency, to pop-up innovation cities such as Edge City, and residencies like Funding the Commons.
