Update:
Thanks again everyone for your amazing interest in the Dynamic Health Project! 💚
Since demand is higher than our Fitbit supply, we selected 20 participants for this first round and created a waitlist.
✅ The 20 selected and the first 6 on the waitlist have been DMed.
⚪ If you didn’t get a DM, I didn’t see you on any signup form. You’re welcome to attend onboarding and see if you can get off the waitlist though!
If anyone changes their mind, doesn’t respond, or misses onboarding, we’ll invite waitlisted folks in order, as well as those who attend Onboarding.
📍Onboarding: 12:30 pm today – Le Village (upstairs auditorium)
Please come to keep your spot or show interest for future rounds.
So grateful for all your responses — wish we could include everyone this round! ✨
Also, please join the telegram group: https://t.me/+H99gvXniO9gyZjQx
This session is required for Consciousness Athletes!
If you committed to the month, you should have received an invite to the Telegram group (or will shortly). Let us know if not.
Onboarding for Consciousness Athletes / Dynamic Health Project
Congratulations, you’ve been selected as a potential Consciousness Athlete for the Dynamic Health Project at Edge Patagonia!
This role combines participation in the Dynamic Health Project (DHP) with involvement in select studies from the Consciousness Residency. As a Consciousness Athlete, you’ll help explore how physiology, environment, and consciousness interact by using wearables, structured resilience protocols, consciousness activities, and your own lived experience.
Onboarding Event
Please attend this session! If you absolutely cannot attend, but want to be a Consciousness Athlete, please email us (we will assume you are not interested otherwise).
What It Means to Be a Consciousness Athlete
You’re joining a small, intentional cohort who will:
Participate in brief resilience sessions (structured breathing, sound, or mild stress-response tasks like putting your hand in ice water) while wearing physiological sensors.
Wear a Fitbit and Polar chest strap during and after Edge to track your body’s rhythms in daily life.
Continue wearing the devices for several months after Edge and return them by mail once the study ends.
Participate in other consciousness residency experiments.
Contribute to research aimed at understanding how experiences like Edge shape our physiology.
Your Role and Commitments
1. Wearables
Fitbit Inspire 3: worn 24/7 for heart-rate and activity tracking (take off in saunas and to charge).
Polar H10 chest strap: worn during resilience sessions, for at least three days, and any designated experimental tasks.
Ideally, keep wearing the devices for a few months after Edge so we can see how the Edge experience continues to affect physiology over time.
When the study ends, you’ll mail the devices back (we’ll provide return instructions).
2. Participation
Participate in Dynamic Health Project protocols, including the in-person resilience session and periodic short surveys.
Attend the Consciousness Residency sessions and experiments that you are accepted into.
Optionally, log notable events (e.g., meditation, breathwork, exercise, deep work, etc.) through the event-logging tool provided.
3. Ground Rules
Be consistent with your wearables (charge regularly, wear correctly).
Respect privacy—data will be anonymized and used only for research.
If you’re not sure you can commit to the practices and sessions, this is a good time to bow out gracefully (no hard feelings!). The integrity of the data (and the depth of your experience) depend on showing up fully.
Thank you for contributing to this experiment in living systems, where science meets experience!
