Every Thursday we’ll gather for d/acc Lightning Talks: short, engaging presentations sessions by d/acc residents, mentors, & Edge City citizens.
Each speaker gets 5 minutes to present + 3 minutes for Q&A.
Talks are open to creative formats and wild ideas. You can go for a short talk of course, but also, do a live demo, “show & tell”, or share a personal experiment, question, or story!
Theme: d/acc. We suggest you focus on one or more of the “D”s, or potential tensions between these concepts:
Decentralization: distributing technological power, infrastructure, or intelligence
Democratization of tech: enabling broad participation and coordination
Differential tech acceleration: accelerating what’s beneficial while restraining harm
Defensive tech: resilience, security, and protective -first approaches
We recommend sharing something you’re personally excited about! This is not a pitch session, it's a space to engage with residents and Edge citizens about what genuinely matters to you
