I will give a presentation making the case that the intelligence problem is the last problem we need to solve in order to solve all other problems.

I will briefly go over the following topics:

• What is intelligence? Is it a valid and unitary construct?

• Why intelligence explains differences in national success to a much greater degree than at the individual level.

• The relationship between intelligence and innovation.

• What explains the secular increase in intelligence throughout the 20th century known as the Flynn Effect? And why did it end in the developed world since 2000?

• Could the end of the Flynn Effect lead to economic stagnation or even a new Dark age on longer timescales?

• Why radically increasing human intelligence technologically is becoming technologically feasible.

• The case for "nooceleration": Minimizing collapse risks while accelerating solutions to all other major problems, including radical life extension, the qualia problem, and AI alignment.

• The role of network states and DeSci in effecting nooceleration.

Finally, I will briefly sketch out a plan for a "Noema DAO" to support intelligence enhancement research, and answer questions.
