DAOist insurance (by Jonathan Heppner) Jonathan is starting this during Vitalia! According to story, Daoist (Chinese philosophy) Doctors financed their practice in a unique way. All year round, patients would pay the doctors, but when the patient fell sick, the doctors had to pay the patient. (Just like you pay your insurance all year, but when you get sick, they pay for you.) Crypto seems to be the perfect technology to reinstate this principle, where the doctor is incentivized to keep the patient healthy by cutting out the middleman. This session will focus on how to build a Daoist InsuranceDAO, which will reinstate the Daoist medical insurance scheme.
